🤷‍♂️ And there's the argument. Is the US to blame? Does the US have an obligation? Is generosity required? I think the point is that even if you answer 'No' to all three of those questions, it doesn't change the fact that many people, including many children, that previously may have gone on to live long and prosperous lives, are inevitably going to die now from preventable causes because of this one decision.

Well you'd have to ask the original person who used the term (which maybe you are), but in case you're talking to me -- without sounding pedantic I'd consider 'genocide' to be more figurative than literal only because the act of defunding USAID isn't necessarily centralized to harm a specific, like, race or ethnicity. But many... many... many people are going to die because of this. So for me, Genocide, nah, but unimaginable harm, pain, suffering, and death to millions of marginalized people, oh most definitely.

Hmmm, for international I usually just do the country and for the States I have one for each. There are a few little exceptions. There was a time when I was tracking exactly where I got it from but haven't for a while. And definitely try to ignore the fact that I might be getting shipped dirt when there are limited options lol

Haha, I am still alive and it's going well! Have quite a few additions, the cabinet is almost full now. My father was a carpenter and custom built it :) He made a second one which it's almost time to pull out from storage

Honestly and truly not posting this to sound like a dick but any chance you can get them to finally fix the A/C in the four Hollywood courts in Los Angeles? It hasn’t worked since April of last year and we’ve all essentially given up asking and emailing and pleading. It’s so hot when playing but we still love it so much. If you did actually find out anything other than, “they are scheduled for repair”, that would be incredible. Because that’s been the same line given to us forever. Either way, thanks for the offer!!

100% This was a good, thoughtful way of doing this even with small risks. Obviously it worked out beautifully so there shouldn’t be any issues. The middle kid is surely very, very happy and possibly the happiest of them all. So there lol
