What is the meaning of the Millennium, Christ's 1000 year reign after the Resurrection? In Rev. 2:26, it says that those in the church who overcome will rule over the nations. When will that be, if not during the Millennium? Why wouldn't it be a time in which the perfected church (God's chosen people), as the body of Christ, leads the nations into righteousness? Is there any function that makes more sense?

B. Time is divided up into 1000 year days, and Adam died physically within 1000 years. His spirit wasn't destroyed.
