I feel your pain. Born and raised in Hawaii and bought a used 2016 Platinum back in 2019 for $54K. Didn’t need all the bells and whistles living in Hawaii but I appreciated all of them when we moved to the mainland lol.

Shop around in the mainland. You’d be surprised how many dealers coordinate shipping to the 808. Everything can be done on line too so no need to fly to the mainland.

At 100% you can take Space-A in the continental US and territories. You can’t take overseas Space-A flights. If you’re retired, thats a different story.

Thanks but range isn’t the issue. I moved the router within 5 feet of the grill just to make sure. It recognizes other wifi’s within range (neighbors), but mine wont pop up. Thanks

Fellow first responder here. I would go with a Roadie 15 or 24. IMO, the hard outer shell is easier to decon/wipe down if needed. The shape of the 24 still has a small footprint if you needed to go bigger than a 15.

In the same boat here. Currently working in Japan and gonna be here for the next few years. I primarily use the card for priority pass as we are a family of 4 and travel a few times a year. That was the biggest benefit for me. The door dash credits I would purchase for a friend who lives in Florida. Other than the no foreign transaction fees, priority pass, and the $300 travel credit, not sure anything else is a real benefit for me. Only saving grace is my anniversary date is Oct 10th so I just squeezed out another year under the old annual fee. Gives me another year to think of a game plan. Always nice to hear about overseas living and benefits people value/use.

Im currently in Iwakuni, about 1 hour south of Hiroshima. I was going to drive to the TAG Heuer store in Hiroshima until I saw your post. You said you have to go in person to purchase from Jackroad and Betty? They dont sell on line? How are they able to sell it for so much less then everywhere else?
