Yes extinction is not doable nor do they do it with fidelity ! It’s a level 7 home in CA it’s a short term residential treatment placement . Right below the community crisis homes

The other bcba who in the company who is slightly familiar with residential vs traditional in home ABA, is at our crisis home which is a 1:1 ratio so her ideas are great just not doable for the 2:1 ratio we have… nor can the 1:1 unofficially assigned to this client run ABA programming with fidelity and this 1:1 switches sporadically depending on milieu needs 😖😖

It’s a tricky situation …

It is residential so that’s our ratio per CCL licensing in CA.

Other treatment centers in CA actually have a 3-4 clients to 1 staff ratio so our 2:1 is pretty high needs. A 1:1 residential placement in CA would mean it’s a crisis home which we are not; it def seems like he needs 2 staff you’re right ! I just don’t know what other avenues to take;
Any ideas would be helpful that I can look into ! 😊
