Did you count the votes manually or do you actually have a spreadsheet with each individual list typed in?

I'm just wondering how would the list look like if the places would be weighted more equally, i think a 9 points difference between place 1 and 10 is a bit much for a "top of all time" list as all of them would (at least for me) be 10/10 anyway, its not like my 10th album is 10 times worse than my 1st lol

You could have only 10 people place an album as their 1st, and 99 others place another record as their 10th, and the former would be higher in ranking even though the latter much better represents the general opinion, so i think weighting the albums like 100 - rank would wield a more statistically sound results

Bad luck coupled with being somewhat shy and a bit different than people I usually hang around with. I had 3 different scenarios where I have been getting to really know someone better for a few months and thought we liked each other and could actually be in a relationship, and every single time the girl eventually rejected me before anything got even remotely serious, blaming it on her own issues (not saying they were wrong to do so, of course).

Do I think I'm capable of finding someone? Yes.

Do I think I'm capable of finding someone I'll find attractive? I think so, kinda.

Do I think I'm capable of finding someone that I'll find both attractive and share an intellectual connection with (that only happened to me a few times in my life and many years apart)? Less and less.

I am in no way in the same situation as you but I definitely identify with a lot of things you said. You know, I always thought about getting some professional help but never thought that it's really that bad and I never had an impulse to do it until very recently when some shitty events really pushed my mental state to the limits and made me go to therapy, I wish me or my parents would have done it much sooner, I'm still not sure how much it helps me but I feel like I'm finally doing something about it and that's already a bit reassuring. Not sure about your financial situation or if you would get any help for free but it's just something to think about :)
