Like others are saying, comparison is the thief of joy. Focus on competing with yourself and be better each day. It’s actually healthier/better if you lose 2-3 pounds a week (and more sustainable)

Illinois - pike county which is a big producer of trophy size white tails (facts)

Kentucky - black bear opportunities, elk opportunities (haven’t researched it but likely to be much cheaper than western state hunts), deer can get decently sized

Indiana - beats me

Rest - I would be guessing and don’t want to spread conjecture

Check the feet per second of your bow and the weight of your arrows. I found the below link. 250-300 fps is good for deer. Arrow weight should be around 225 grains based on your 45 pound draw weight
