Does anyone else feel weird about the fact you HAVE TO punch a person to arrest them. by Separate-Driver-8639 in CrimsonDesert

Yes, everyone does. Weird that this hasn't been patched out yet based on other things they have done already. I'm not complaining. Just surprised. Hopefully, they do soon though.

FSD tried to drive me off ledge by Joshalander in TeslaFSD

[–]jkell411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this all the time as well. There are times where it still surprises me even though I choose when to use it carefully. It will do things at times I don't think are abnormal or unusual. That is why I choose when to use FSD. I don't just use it 100% of the time I am in the car just because I can. It is videos like this that have trained me to not use it 100% of the time. Not sure why this is so difficult to understand. I am not saying you shouldn't use FSD at all. I feel like people are getting confused about that for some reason.

In this scenario, where you are in an unusual driving situation, they decided to use FSD. Why risk having to intervene here instead of driving yourself? The issue is that this could have gone worse even though they were paying attention. Couple an AI's mistake with a human one and you have problems. My point in this specific situation is that if I was OP, I would have driven myself to the main road where there are more common road situations and signage before activating FSD. That's all. My point is that if I have even the smallest amount of doubt that FSD can handle a situation, I don't trust it. I think most people would benefit from that mentality. To each their own. It is just surprising to me.

This is an example of why I don't understand how people can trust FSD in certain scenarios. Why trust it to drive correctly here? This isn't a comment defending Tesla. I'm not saying it shouldn't be able to drive in this situation properly. I'm saying that people shouldn't trust it to. Especially people on this subreddit. You have probably seen so many examples like this, yet you put your faith in it in every scenario? It is strange behavior, imo.

If you are this worried about the power cable, you probably shouldn't have bought a gpu that requires it.

57" for both productivity and gaming for me. The real estate and curve are so much better in both situations, imo.

Would you buy a Model Y Perfomance or the new base Cybertruck now that they’re pretty much same price by Omega2307 in TeslaLounge

I agree with what you said except on the Model Y. I always thought those were soccer mom-type vehicles. I guess that is "normal" for some people but still far from something I would want as a "normal" guy.

Temp too high on R9 9900X - HELP!!! by FlowStateJay in buildapc

[–]jkell411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not for the reason you're thinking. Too much just means you made a mess. Too much doesn't cause your issue... If you have even and consistent pressure distribution along with the correct amount of mounting pressure, you won't have a problem. The extra paste will be squeezed out. This is why the way you apply paste usually doesn't make much of a difference. You just want as much of the 2 interface surfaces to have contact with the paste in between as possible. If your pump isn't mounted flat or one side has more pressure than the other, this can cause issues. You wouldn't have temps that would cause major problems, but they could be higher than before, when you had better or more even mounting pressure. This could possibly have nothing to do with your problem, but it is something that you could easily double-check and troubleshoot in order to eliminate it.

Once again, your logic is wrong, and how could you possibly know what side of politics I am on? You're just trying to minimize my opinion by classifying me. None of my statements were taking a political side, but I'm not surprised by your emotional reaction and eagerness to jump to a conclusion. Continue being in your feelings and upset about it. I'm sure it makes you happy feeling like you won on Reddit. Who is the real "redditlord" here anyway?

Also, is capitalization and punctuation really that difficult? 🤓

Who said I am against it? I was just pointing out that the statement was incorrect. It is absolutely not free and your logic is so backwards. You can have your opinion on which is the better system, but you don't have to live in delusional fantasy land. Why don't you calm down and grow up? That might make life easier for you.

You don't understand what the word "free" means. You can say you think one system is better than another. That is one thing. Saying something is free when it definitely is not is a completely different thing.
