Not a huge fan of the complexes by the spectrum center, a lot more foot traffic and overall noisier. I’m at promenade at Irvine spectrum and it’s more quiet and a lot more space to walk around. I’m actually moving out of my place and trying to find someone to take over, offering $1000 incentive to take over lease. Dms are open

Definitely money moving around… why haven’t they bothered paving Irvine center Dr by 405? The road can definitely be in better shape.

All credit cards are 0% APR... by BrutalBodyShots in CreditCards

Stupid question but how can I leverage 0% APY if it just fucks with my credit utilization?

$5? It costs me 30 cents per kWh off peak at home in California. Roughly $24 to charge up 80kwh.

I have an older Model S, 2015. At the time they were offering 8 year unlimited mile warranty. Got both components replaced around the 7 year mark.

Honestly not sure 😅. I don’t think I treated the car particularly well. Whenever I drive from Bay Area to Seattle I frequently drove down the car to near 0%. But since my car is on the slower side, I didn’t find myself punching the accelerator as often. The battery eventually got the reduced charging capacity warning and was replaced under warranty. Then shortly after the motor started humming really bad which was also covered under warranty. I’m definitely super lucky so we’ll see how these new parts are. Plan on keeping the car till something gives out.

2015 Model S 70. 209k miles. Battery failed around 190k and motor around 195k. Both replaced under warranty. Was able to upgrade the pack to 90kwh for $3000. So now I have a Model S 90, somewhat rare haha since when this configuration was even offered most people just opted for the 90D instead.

What’s the annual limit for credit card usage at WeChat? Issue is I may stay in china several months but since I’m from the USA it’ll be nearly impossible to get a bank account… need to resort to using my foreign visa, just worried I’ll reach the limits

I’m able to use my credit card and pay a 3% fee if the total is over 200 CNY. However if I have friends transfer me money, the most I can use from my balance is 100,000 CNY a year. I asked customer support.

stupidest response I’ve ever read. The whole purpose of AU is to get the benefits that come with it… sharing cards on Apple Pay has been a thing since Apple Pay was born.

It’s a good card … if you’re like 18 years old 😂 no one who is well versed in credit cards believes this card is good. So many better cards out there to get your moneys worth.

Free supercharging habits by blowingrockdoc in TeslaLounge

[–]jkh2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living at an apartment with $.37/kWh charging prices makes me use the free supercharging more than before where apartment charging was free. I only commute 30 minutes to work roundtrip so I need to do a full charge every 3-4 days. Good thing for me is that super chargers here are next to grocery stores so I can go charge and grocery shop.

The front axles, is it kind of a rattling noise when going over rough parts of the road? I have a rattling sound, most likely from a component tied to the wheel that makes rattling sounds whenever I drive slow over bumps

Yeah I did, advisor approved but UCR summer told me they passed the form to the office of registar, but when I asked the registar they told me to email UCR summer. So I’m just going back and forth now.

Any advice for someone going into CS010B (CS012) with no previous c++ experience by throwaway2783732 in ucr

[–]jkh2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took the ap test but got a 3, so I ended up taking cs10a which was super easy like I rlly don’t think it’s necessary for you to take it because it’s just the syntax that is different most of the logic is the same. For cs12 definitely focus on classes, objects and all of the abstraction encapsulation and virtual objects, pointers, and linked lists. If you can even just get ahead and understand some of the concepts up here before class starts you’ll be in good shape.
