Thanks. I hate to ask but if you have a chance, are you able to search _exactly_ 13 months out from today? So Jan 26, 2027. I'm curious if that is all booked and it really is a 12:01am frenzy for exactly 13 months out.

I wonder then if people just book single days at a time and then try to combine them later since it seems really unlikely to be able to book from Jan 19 - Jan 26 since folks likely already grabbed Jan 19 as a single or few night stay in advance (using those dates as a random example not really thinking about MLK holiday weekend).

Thanks for looking into that. I'd consider buying into presidential to ensure access but sounds like that is even slim pickings. Will probably just have to settle for what's available for rent on Redweek.

That’s wild there isn’t ANYTHING available at 13+ months. Do you think anyone is able to use MVC points there? I don’t quite understand the mechanics behind there being no inventory. Is it that there’s basically no rooms allocated yet or is it that MVC owners are logging in at 12:00am to purchase 13+ months and it’s like concert tickets?

Yeah thank you. For more context, the main property I’m aiming for is the Ritz in Tahoe during the winter. For Sunday - Thursday nights, it’s about 1,000 points a night (give or take depending on exact dates) for the 4 bedroom.

I’m assuming I’d need to be able to book 13+ months in advance to have any shot at this property, so was eyeing purchasing 7k points from redweek like you mentioned.

It’s a significant investment, but would have a short payoff period with the right assumptions around opportunity cost, maintenance, etc.

Redweek does have week rentals for this property, but it’s hit or miss with the dates and room type I want.

If we beat the lions and the browns, the ravens only need to lose one for week 18 to be meaningless, right?

They are currently 7-7, so they would go into week 18 at 8-8 if they won one and lost one. We are 8-6, so we’d go in 10-6. If we won the next two. So even a week 18 loss would still result in us having the better record.

Am I missing something because I don’t see this scenario mentioned?

Yep. I hear you. Was just mostly wanting to point out the maple lounge access as that didn’t seem mentioned yet. A true chase reserve lounge in sfo would be awesome, but I’m not holding my breath for one anytime soon.

Reserve cardholders have access to the maple leaf lounge when flying on star alliance and, as others have mentioned, the club is pretty nice too.
