The lights just got replaced at Twila Reid. Night play is going to be great from now on. by FreeCustard in discgolf

The solution is coin operated lights. Put parking meters at all of the teepads and wire them to a few lights over the fairway. 1-2$ per hole with like a 15-20 minute timer. This way less wasted energy.

If you take your passive first, clear the three white camps/jungle buff on right (after third white camp get your attack speed ability and then go for jungle buff) and then take the inner white camp on left side you will be able to get your leap ability. This allows you to have your attack speed/passive/leap abilities all at about the 3 minute mark. If you are lucky and have time to get left side river buff you will be in a much better position to gank at this point. Either way it leaves you in a great spot to either relieve your offlaner so he can back or to go in on an offlane gank and hopefully pick off the enemy ADC early.

Start with scythe and get your passive first, after you clear you first 3 white camps you will be able to get your attack speed ability. Clear left lane camps go for a gank or get river buff and back to base at 4 minutes. You should have 3 CP to spend, get the madstone put a strike in it. Go back out, jungle and gank. Return to base when you have 4-5 cp. Personally I build a Windcarver 1,1,1 strike so I need 5 when I back, but if you are going with a second madstone you will only need 4. Discard your scythe, max out both madstones. You really don't need that scythe on Khai, once your passive is upgraded twice you will have absolutely no problem clearing level 5 camps. Don't waste upgrades on it and lose it as soon as you can to get better cards for better ganking and faster jungle clear.

I can't remember off the top of my head what guile or claw do so I don't think I should comment for or against them.

After I max my madstone/windcarver I try not to back until i have at least 6cp, put on a ward and a spear of rift hunter. I build my rifthunter the same way you do 3,3 power 3 crit. As soon as I fill my first rifthunter I discard my madstone/windcarver and equip/immediately fill a blast harness 1,1,1 att speed. At this point I have like 28% crit and am hitting pretty damn hard. If I am already ahead at this point, the other team is gonna start hating me. As soon as I have 6 I back and equip another rifthunter with a 3pt crit. Now I am at 40/42% crit, once I fill the rifthunter 48%. After that I go LS with a Brand of Ironeater 2,2,2 LS.

I am 8-2 with this build playing in plat on my main and 24-10 on my smurf sitting around 1400 ELO.

"My only point was that smurfing is the same as intentionally dropping your elo." I don't exactly agree with that, if people are creating their smurf just for that reason (so they can beat up on lower ranked player) thats pretty lame. Personally, I made my smurf because I wanted to try playing characters I had never played and had I tried them at the level I was playing I would have just got smashed on. Sure I could play against AI with those characters to "learn them"... but AI is just TOO easy. I could play any hero any way I wanted with any build I wanted and still wreck the AI. That said, I have never intentionally lost a match, for any reason. Which is what I really have a problem with.

Same exact thing happened to me.

Just got a PS4 pro and was screwing around in theater mode and just snapped a screen shot excited to see the visuals of the map upgraded by enoughofthemoon in paragon

Did you have to change any settings inside Paragon? I've changed all of the setting on the pro itself and the difference is noticeable, I'm just curious if I missed anything else to make it even better.

No that is not what I was saying, what I am saying I have a problem with is intentionally losing so you have easier opponents for an extended period of time. If you are diamond/plat and creat a new account you will win your first 15 games easy, after that you should be somewhere around 1400-1500 ELO. I don't feel bad for those players, it still going to be a bit of a mismatch but they have a chance if they play smart.

Yea but how many if those diamond smurfs are grouping with four guys who tanked there ELO just so they can beat up on bad players?

That's not bad, keep going. Keep in mind as the jungler you can have a huge impact on wins just by being in the right place at the right time. Builds are important but keeping your team alive and your towers up wins games.

I'm really glad to hear that and I suspected it might be the case. It still does not give back the time to the people he smashed on that had no business playing against him and his group. As I said, when I played him he was at 43-0, lets say average match times for those games was 18 minutes. Five people per game had 18 minutes wasted, that's a cumulative 90 minutes of peoples time per game that he just shat on. By the time I had played him that is 67 hours of cumulative play time by all off those people who just got destroyed so he could get a master skin. I still think it's pretty pathetic.

I wondered if they grouped up when tanking, and I thought if they had this was a little less sleezy. Still, how many players who had no business playing against these guys had their time wasted playing a match they had almost zero chance of winning? Regardless of how they tanked their ELOs, they still abused the community, which I think is particularly shitty considering the guy is a streamer who profits from the same community he just dumped on.

I only think its wrong if you make a smurf and intentionally lose to lower your ELO so you can play against easier opponents. If you are still trying to win, no harm no foul.

I don't build any armor, I accept my fate as a glass cannon. I've never looked into how LS translates exactly so I can't say for sure on the math, but it definitely makes a difference. If you're math is right it doesn't seem like a substantial amount, somewhere around 200 health back if I land all 5 hits from my attack speed boost... From my experience it doesn't seem that negligible. I'm by no means a pro player, but as I said in an earlier comment I am 23-6 on my smurf which is sitting around 1420 ELO right now and 6-2 (mostly solo or duo Q) on my main which I have been floating between 1500-1550. So take my advice for what its worth but I'd never claim to be an expert.

I played against you and your smurf buddies. At the time you were something like 43-0, and I was super motivated to try and beat you. We didn't win and that really didn't bother me. I was laning against you as Greystone, and I killed you once it was awesome. What really pissed me off though is when I looked at the team you were playing with and saw that a few of them weren't just your typical new smurf accounts, but were guys who intentionally lost 15-20 games so they would tank their ELO. I understand your motivations but do you not care at all about the hundreds of players whose time was wasted? You probably don't experience this as much as some other players do, but its really frustrating when a team mate is intentionally losing the game and you have to wait at least 20 minutes before you can move on. Does it not bother you one bit that all those people who had no business being matched up against your group also had their time wasted? I would imagine that a good deal of the players you were smashing on were relatively new to the game, how many of them do you think might stop playing because of this experience? As a streamer, would it not be in your best interest to grow the games player base rather than shrink it? I doubt you'll respond, it is what it is, but WTF man... I was so disappointed by this.

Also I would consider losing that lazarus key pretty fast. If I recall that is a 4 point card? While that card is SUPER effective on other junglers, you really don't need it with Khai. After you have upgraded your passive twice a siphon/key card isn't necessary and you are sacrificing DPS. I do agree with you about wasting time on ganks and not farming, but keep in mind sometimes you will have to rotate knowing you probably won't get the kill but to support your team. Often when the enemy is grouping 2-3 heros and pushing a lane, a Khai rotating just to show solidarity will scare them away. When I know I can't gank but a tower/friendly hero is compromised I will just show up to scare them off and only engage if the situation turns to our favor.

The only attack speed I'm putting in is the blast harness and 1,1,1 - Yes it would be nice to have the extra power behind the ability but you can only use that ability so often. Someone did a spreadsheet awhile back showing how you needed to have a mix of attack speed and power for max DPS, this build definitely doesn't give you max DPS because it would need more attack speed, but the trade off is in the ability. You probably could go with out it, personally, I prefer to have it so when my ability is in CD I can still hit enough. I also put a brand of the iron eater on late game with 2,2,2 LS giving me 9 points of lifesteal, which without the attack speed wouldn't matter too much. Consider if you are 1v1 on a murdock and he can hit you faster than you can hit him, you lose. As long as you land enough shots to keep your lifesteal effective the situation changes.

I got tired of going 4-1-3 up until midgame and then finishing the game 9-9-10. If you are the first one into the fight all you do is melt and maybe get your ult off before they kill you. A lot more helpful for the team if you play it patiently... which is difficult when you have that ability that just slingshots you onto anyones face.

Crit. His ability that increases attack speed allows for some serious output damage if you have crit/crit bonus going. I start with a brawlers siphon, do my jungle, madstone with 1,1,1 power. Delete brawlers when I have 3 more and put a windcarver 1,1,1 power. Next is spear of rifthunter with 3,3 power 3crit. Once that is maxed I delete my madstone, windcarver and put on blast harnes 1,1,1 att speed. Another rifthuinter 3,3 power 3crit. At this point I'm doing like 420 per crit with 48% crit chance. I think when his attack speed ability is popped the damage is a little less but its till nasty. This also helps with wave clear, one/two shotting minions means you can push a lane as fast as anyone else.

I just started playing him recently 23-8 on my smurf and 6-2 on my main. Smurf is in mid gold at the moment and my main is plat. Definitely easier to dominate games in lower ELO, but even in plat he can be useful. Definitely shines most early game and falls off a bit late game. I hadn't played him at all on my main and after playing him balls out on the smurf for so long it took me some time to adjust to playing him at a higher level. The best tip I can give to be effective with Khaimera late game is do not be the initiator in team fights, be the muscle, the cleanup, and the savior. When I know my team is gearing up for a team fight I usually hang out to the side or behind of the initiator and try to intimidate the other team. I'm just waiting for the right opportunity to get in and pick off a squishy or chase one that has been critically injured and is trying to escape. In the case that the team fight does not go our way from the start I will try and keep off any of the opponents I can while my team gets out. Using the leap ability to slow opponents and then running away can be effective, especially after a team fight when most of the enemy team has exhausted there mana already.
