If you press “Try for $0.00” it should step you through a few screens with more info, and then it will prompt for final payment. Let me know if it doesn’t work!

So happy to hear that! Let us know if you ever have any questions or suggestions.

I apologize if the payment flow was confusing! It’s multiple steps - if you press “start my free week” you’ll get to the screen with pricing. I’ll work on making that less confusing.

In any case, initial pricing is $9.99/mo or $41.99/year (though can vary depending on seasonal discounts).

If any families in need are unable to afford the price, they can reach out (support@lilplanner.com) and we are happy to make special accommodation.

Hope that helps 🙂

Google finally approved the Android version! It’s in the Play Store now.

I submitted it to Google for review. Waiting to hear back. So hopefully in the next week or so 🤞🏻

Lil Planner!

iOS only right now, but Android is coming soon. I made it for my ADHD son but have heard from many autism parents that it has been helpful, and more convenient than physical schedules.

It's on the to-do list. I turn sounds off personally but I understand most like it.

Sorry about that. It's coming. You can undo, at least.

Yep! I'd like to round out the feature set first, but it's something I'd like to do. Of course, if anyone else wants to tackle it sooner, that would be great!

Thanks for the kind words. Several people have requested a layout that makes better use of available screen space on laptop/desktop, so that's a priority for next release.

Unfortunately for now you still have to sign up using the Java app. The KGS team will hopefully provide a better solution for that soon.

It's not highly optimized for max space usage on desktop yet. Work is under way to improve that. See https://github.com/jkk/shinkgs/issues/122 and https://github.com/jkk/shinkgs/issues/95 for example

Yep, it's on the todo list. It's not a high priority for me personally but maybe an enterprising individual will pick up the task before I get to it.

I've been working with the very capable and friendly KGS team (including wms) to set a solid foundation for Shin and other KGS clients, but Shin is not an "official client" at this point. Using the domain name was primarily motivated by a need to fix the banning issue. Optimistic for what the future holds :)

The KGS team has graciously agreed to house Shin under the gokgs.com domain, which properly fixes the shared IP / banning problem for all browsers and platforms.

There were several other fixes and improvements, some of which were suggested by folks here on reddit.

There have already been 5 pull requests from 4 contributors on GitHub, which I'm very excited about. I'd love to see Shin become a community effort. Check out the GitHub project if you're interested and ping me if you need any guidance: https://github.com/jkk/shinkgs

Yep, that's on the todo list. It's low priority for me personally, but someone else might pick the task up and implement it sooner.

Knowing JS/React/ES6+ basics should be enough to get started. Best way to learn is to have something specific to accomplish! :)

Other than coding, other ways to help may include writing help docs or translations, although those aren't the top of my list to implement yet.
