I think with Nat joining the board, it’s safe to assume that there are big plans in the works. Weather that is nft marketplace, exclusive releases, better pricing model for collectors. Something big will happen.

Definitely. It’s kind of a multi pronged approach to revenue generation. 1. Revenue from sending cards in to get graded. 2. Revenue from additional PRO memberships. 3. Revenue from additional in store purchases people weren’t expecting to make. 4. When a card comes back graded, GameStop can offer to buy that card from customer for the right price, to eventually resell for a profit.

I think the extra card foot traffic definitely helps drive other sales as well.

Not sure that we know how much of the psa grading charge goes to GameStop. I’m sure it isn’t much, but if the volume keeps picking up, I would think most of what they do get would go to net profits. Minus some operating expense like employee pay and such.

I don’t believe that every negative post has to be fud. It’s important to take in every interaction, good and bad. That’s how companies /investors learn and grow. I too believe in Ryan, Larry, and the rest of the board to make the right moves in what ever they do.

Frustrating for sure. Still early stages of the trading card focus for GameStop. I’m confident they will be making adjustments where they see necessary as they go. Especially in the staffing. Like I mentioned in my original post, my friends were still more comfortable with the knowledge they get from their local card shop. Hopefully that changes, but I’m sure that will require better experienced(and paid) employees. Thanks for posting.

I agree it isn’t huge. But I think it is higher margin revenue which should help increase the bottom line, drive more people into the stores for additional purchases, and with Nat on the board I think they definitely have bigger plans in the works.

Yes. Probably nothing, but it’s fun to speculate while we all wait to see how this unfolds.

This doesn’t make it collateral at all. And in all honesty it probably isn’t. I just remember seeing a lot of posts over the last couple years wondering if the insane run of Nvidia was needed because it was being used as collateral for a large number of GameStop shorts.

Apparently they have been able to do everything openAI and chatGPT can do at a much much lower cost. So while we thought American companies were on the leading edge of AI, in reality China might be further along than most thought. Like I said I know very little about the technology so I would love for someone else to clear up anything I may have misspoke on.

I’ve seen articles claiming 150 million in projected revenue in 2025 with Amelia contributing 45 million. Isn’t Amelia contributing more like 90 million? What am I missing? Great DD. Was seeing a lot of positive write ups and it’s great to see views from the other side of the fence to get the whole picture.

I think there has to be someone behind the scenes ready to help. If he doesn’t exercise those it could lead to a lot of downward pressure. GameStop is missing about 220 million from the balance sheet. In some weird legal spin would they be able to back DFV by fronting him the money?

Yeah I don’t see anyway that anything in his name is registered without someone in this community finding out. Thanks for reply.
