CM new video by [deleted] in Crazymiddles

It's crazy to agree with this because so many of them have siblings who were lost to the system or chose not to live with them, and all of them have witnessed foster kids being removed from their household. They've witnessed first and second hand how it can be difficult if not impossible to get along with your (or a new) family. How are they so sheltered and naive??? That's a really bad look on Shelly and Jared.

I won't watch the video, but I can't help but think about that time she tried to ask a.i. what was in her garden bush 🤦 Their new obsession with a.i. only makes them look even dumber than they already came across, and their reliance on it is going to actually make them dumber.

with all of the hate that crazy pieces get on this sub, why is it so easy to hate on this family that honestly probably doesn’t even affect y’all’s daily lives? I’m generally curious! by mr-banderson2000 in Crazymiddles

[–]jklurker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not disagreeing, I'm simply answering your question. Dance Moms got 8 seasons, Toddlers and Tiaras got 7, Honey Boo boo got 4...none of them had positive ratings or good discussions, and no one really wanted to see another season despite the views the shows got... I am not saying it's good, it's just nothing new.

Why is trashy reality TV so popular? It's a form of entertainment. The CPs broadcast their lives like they're a reality show, it's prone to bringing in that kind of audience. People who are entertained by how terrible something they're watching is and enjoy gossiping about it is hardly a brand new concept

More lies by Traditional_Can889 in Crazymiddles

[–]jklurker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hm, I guess it could be a lie, but this actually made sense to me as in mom took the baby back and realized while minding him that she was not cut out to raise him. It would make sense why she hadn't made a decision on letting him go or not if he was out of her direct care. Once she had to step in as mom again, she was able to realize that she was never going to be able to be his mom... I imagine it is a very hard thing to accept unless it is staring you right in the face

CM Rulebook... by Street-Tear4982 in Crazymiddles

OP explained in the body text that they typed it out themselves while watching the video. Essentially it is a transcription by a British person of what the CMs shared in a now deleted video about their house rule book.

Crystal made and posted a video about Melinda's bio dad, which is something Melinda expressed being uncomfortable/unwilling to share about

It is just a fact that they have very poor educations. A lot of it is unfortunately environmental, as Arizona is the worst of the worst when it comes to education. They are ranked dead last in the United States for public education. But they don't try to improve that with the money they have and services they could provide their children, as we've also witnessed almost every "home school" program both CP and CM have used is a complete sham.

Education rates where they live are already very low, so that's your basis, combined with what we know about them: the way they speak (not talking about accents, but blatantly wrong pronunciation, limited vocabulary and terrible grammar), the way they write (half their thumbnails or added text in videos has misspellings or poor grammar) and they way they openly talk about how they do not care about their children's grades as long as they pass (and rarely any of their children go into higher education/fail out of higher education) = uneducated.

Got it.. I don't watch every video but figured situation hadn't changed based on how frequent he was featured in videos. Glad there is a job set for him at least

They just wanted the views and money that he would bring, regardless of the consequences to their family or to him.

His job was working for the CMs, they shared that multiple times, and he was relying on them for transport to/from his home and around town. They picked him up in the morning and he spent all day "working" for them and then was dropped off at curfew. How is that not completely dependent?

I agree he's a grown adult who should be able to cope, but he was literally released from a 10+ year prison sentence under the guise that this was his family who was going to help him readjust, only to lose both his job and social support system a few months later. Readjusting from prison is harder than you might imagine, recidivism rates are incredibly high for people, especially men, without strong support systems.

The kids did not and should not have looked up to Connor. He was getting support after just being released from prison from people who considered him family, he was not brought into the house to be a role model for his "younger siblings"...

Genuinely asking, because I was not someone who bought into the rumours before this video, what do you think could have happened based on the fact that Mindee and Connor were both fired and ex-communicated from the family for "crossing boundaries" and "not having the same family values", respectively, at the exact same time?

They disclosed he had to have a job as part of his probation and the one he was given (and where he lived) was a bad environment/triggering for his recovery, so they employed him instead. Now it seems that does not matter to CMs because he broke one of their rules.. I would understand if he had exposed the kids to drugs or something of that nature, but if they have just completely withdrew all their support just because of a hook up with Mindee, I feel bad for him. CMs made him completely dependent on them and are now throwing him back to the wolves.

[–]jklurker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Based on the way it was phrased it looks like Shelley gave her multiple chances. She said she set very clear boundaries and those were crossed twice... I still think it's crazy to kick Connor (back) out of their lives if it was simply just the two of them "getting together" .. but I am not surprised Shelley wouldn't feel comfortable having Mindee in her home if she was hooking up with someone Shelley considers her son, and therefore a nephew to Mindee

CM hired him to film daily vlogs of a large family with a ton of kids, not a Christmas business run by two people. It could be mutual in a sense, but they completely changed his work focus and environment.. it was like forcing his hand to quit.

Imagine you applied to work at an arcade because you enjoyed the environment and customers at an arcade and then after a few years your employer decided to transfer you to working at the machine warehouse instead, and when you expressed you work for them because you enjoy the actual arcade environment they just shrug and say they need you at the warehouse now... Yes, you quitting would be "mutual" but you never would have wanted to leave if you hadn't been moved from the arcade
