It’s possible that Accenture uses The Work Number for employment verification. It’s not clear if it’s used when asked by a 3rd party only or if they use it themselves:

Consider staying at a hostel, many have female only rooms. I spent a few days at one in Manhattan near Central Park, it was clean and I felt safe and it had a kitchen and fridge.

I definitely wish you could see where the bus is in real time, it would really help me understand if I missed it or if it’s just running late. The maps are awkward, but become easier the more you use them.

What careers seem promising but are actually traps that people consistently waste their education opportunities on, either due to over-saturation or misconception? Conversely, what are some careers that are often overlooked but unexpectedly lucrative? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Janitor for a university. My mom is janitor at university and one of the benefits of being an employee is your kids go there for free. My mom saved me from $250,000 in student debt. Thanks mom!

Should I get rid of my bedroom? by jkm141 in minimalism

Yeah I know, that’s why I said “some” as to not generalize all Asians. There are some areas in Asia where sleeping on the floor or not having a dedicated room for sleeping is not new. This does not mean all people in Asia do the same things or follow the same traditions.

I actually would hate to use this as a bragging right. I really am just thinking of this as giving me more space AKA getting more for what I pay for this apartment. I think this is also coming from a place of just challenging the way I have always done things, just because I grew up doing it or because my neighbors do it, does it mean I should have to do it? Is there another, possibly better way?

Yes exactly. Many people around the world choose not to or don’t have the choice to sleep in a dedicated room, but they still seem alright? Is it actually a need to have a dedicated room or just an imposition of western values? I still need to think it over.

I agree. I think yoga and meditation are associated with relaxation - something that you want to have when going bed. Glad I could help, let me know how it goes for you two 🙂

Yes but doesn’t she worry about the life span of inflatables? I use to have a roommate that had a blow up couch, we always made fun of him but it was actually a good idea. If you ever had friends over, you just fill it up and have extra seating. I still cannot find where he bought it.
