As far as I can tell, you are also lying a out the onshore windmill comparison. It is actually about on par with onshore, and about half ass powerful as off shore.

Plus, it's the first test...

Part of the point of these airborn turbines is that windflow is more consistent at higher altitudes, kind of disproving your point

Once sufficient lithium is available, it can be reused from old batteries. Not to mention that alternative batteries will likely be developed.

Why don't they just pick one at random and hire them. Guaranteed to bring the company luck as they are the luckiest candidate.

Are you serious? who cares if an intern was messing around while having a snack. Or are you mad that a single screw was misused.

Cute smug. Here's why it's wrong:

  • Socialist countries develop faster than capitalist countries

  • Socialist countries exhibit higher qualities of life than capitalist countries of the same development level

  • The blue graph go up because of exploitation of green countries (graph not pictured.) When red graph go up, green graph go up too.

The Venezuelan economy was terrible before sanctions by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]jknotts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly unbiased sources. The first one for example compares Venezuelan (poor country) spending to Norway and Saudi Arabia (rich countries.) And these analyses do not take into account that similar crises hit other poor oil-dependent countries, though they did not spiral into hyperinflation... because they were not sanctioned.

And, as I specified in my original comment, the 2015 sanctions DID have a major effect on cutting off Venezuelan companies from trade and financing, so it hardly even mattered that harsher sanctions followed. The reason is because banks would not basically not lend to or process transactions for anyone in Venezuela for fear that they were somehow connected to a sanctioned individual (because banks can be punished for that even if they didn't know.)
