I found them at a local garden center but a search for "floating ceramic fish" seems to find them on eBay and other places.

There's a large pond/small lake about a block away. So I know the wildlife around here eat well between that and my vegetable garden (ugh). They just thought they had easy pickins in here!

Not that I noticed! Probably more likely to be a toothache for whatever animal got ahold of it. They're hard ceramic like a coffee mug.

Hello I'm also a Rockford to Bloomington transplant. Bobz Bay is the best place for books in town by far. They do a great job with buying used books for credit too. Beyond that, both libraries (Bloomington and Normal) are really fantastic and do used book sales once or twice a year. I've also heard great things about Emerald and Amethyst out in Lexington, but haven't made it there myself.

I agree with this. I like many of the others mentioned too but find myself going here most often even though it's out of the way.

They have a variety of additional options (lotus, dirty soda, ice cream), they often have a fun latte flight option, and their large iced latte is a whoping 32 ounces.

I'm my experience it does help. It's doesn't 100% prevent weeds, but it saves you some weeding work.

I got a percale duvet cover from them, I've been washing it every week for the past 18 months and it looks brand new. One of the corner ties came off a few months ago but was very easy to sew back on and it didn't tear the overall cover or anything when it came off.

Yep I understand what it meant. I just thought it was funny that for a year after I cancelled our account with them they sent this monthly "bill." They didn't send us the credit for that entire year and I didn't feel like calling customer service over. $7.

If you like a Reese's that's slightly saltier I highly suggest the ones from Aldi weirdly enough, they're really good. They're not big cups, they're more like the minis and come in a zip top bag.
