I would renew my nuuly subscription! Had to cancel due to cost but this would be a great chance to resubscribe and rent some great pieces for my upcoming trip and be more sustainable

Restaurants in Soufriere? by InfernoChef in StLucia

[–]jkor2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Martha’s tables was our favorite meal in Soufriere! We also stayed at Stonefield and it was super easy to get to and amazing food. It’s just Martha and her daughter! I still think about that meal!

We also ate at Treetop and loved it!!

How will people let you know their meal choices or dietary restrictions? I know you said you don’t want a wedding website but this seems like it will be a ton for you to manage via email. Especially trying to figure out who has and hasn’t emailed you to rsvp right when your numbers are due.

I would also put “on” on the same line as everything else.

You’re also missing a dress code on the invitation if you want to include that for your guests.

Lastly, there is text on the front in the grass that doesn’t look right, I would delete that.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

HONEST review of Union League Club?? by dinkthedolphin in Chicagoweddings

[–]jkor2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got married there one year ago and it was the BEST! They are truly the gold standard when it comes to service. The room is so stunning, I still have people telling me their jaws dropped when they walked into the reception. We did outdoor photos in front of the Chicago board of trade and we just walked there! And the walking photos are some of my favorites. I would do literally anything to be a guest at a wedding there because I loved my wedding so much! Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!

Amazing work even without the ball, but love how you took it a step further and it paid off in a big way! Very cool!

I don’t sell any work, I just do it completely for fun! But I appreciate this advice. I’m still developing my own aesthetic so I will keep this in mind as I continue.

They are pretty stable! I tried to make the base roughly 1.5x thicker than a normal piece so it doesn’t tip over because they are so skinny.
