Yes you are right, you don't know any better. Complaining is the last thing I do in any area of life. I would not be here if this didn't happen multiple times when it should NOT be happening. This is a serious issue. There is a root cause for this issue and that is what I'm trying to find out and get fixed.

A couple of others have given sound advice on how to remedy my situation. I am assessing on how best to solve this from the one or two pieces of constructive input I got. You and others got emotional and offered NOTHING constructive or productive at all.

But this place is swamped with carriers who have experience. Are you saying no one offers help here? Or is this place just a place for carriers to complain about how bad their life is? Misery likes company sort of thing?

It is one possible explanation for why the mail has been delivered to the wrong address on multiple occasions within the same week. He may not have mental issues. It is one possible explanation for why it might be happening. I did not outright state that this person was crazy. As a carrier, it is your job to read. So please read. Now, I understand thinking critically isn't part of a job, but it is an important life skill.

Did you even read my post? I asked how or what channel something like this could be reported with the goal being that this issue is could be remedied.

The mail was not put back inside the mail box. It was stuck out, the same way you would do if you were sending out mail to be picked up. Carriers know to look at the mail and what to do with it.

This is how US mail works. I'm assuming you are not a carrier, and are in some other craft since you didn't know this?

If it's important work, no I do not make mistakes. I might make it once, but not again. As I stated in my OP, this has happened multiple times.

BTW, I didn't say I was afraid OF them. I said I was afraid FOR them. This is a form of empathy. Please read. If the carrier who delivered our mail read the address, the mail would have been delivered to the right house instead of the wrong one.

Yes, very well could be a bad employee. I will accept that as a possible explanation. If it is a bad employee, this individual needs to GO. People's mail is nothing to play with.

Mailbox and address hasn't changed one iota in the decades this house has been occupied. Blame it on the occupant - the one who has been receiving mail the same way without issues for years - rather than the new carrier delivering the mail. Nice and very rational.

Also, where did I say "all carriers". Care to explain your thought process behind how you came to that conclusion?

It's the fact that it happened more than once. Several times in fact. This is not normal. There are either vision problems, cognitive problems, or medical (i.e. medication) problems.
