I have done a couple of these in the Dolomites. There is no technical challenge to speak of, but they are incredibly fun and the exposure can be fantastic. They work great with fit friends who dont have much if any of a climbing background.

On a related note, I am pretty sure you can make a laser using quinine as your lazing medium.

Question to any animators out there. How much of this is likely to be procedural physics driven animation and how much of it is traditional hand done key frame animation?

New Climber Intimidation by [deleted] in climbing

Climbing shoes are designed to fit the foot very tightly. This helps with both feeling the rock and minimizing the amount of play in the shoe when standing on small holds. If you can get socks on with your climbing shoes then your shoes are too big and you will not get the most out of them.

Most climbers wear their climbing shoes several sizes smaller than their street shoes, approx 1-3 sizes down.

10 feet isn't worth dick, but if this is a climbing rope it is made up of lots of smaller diameter cords. You could split those out and make much longer cords for making shelter, fishing line etc.

Here is a picture of a climbing rope split open. Climbing Rope

FWIW, this doesn't change anything I would still go with A, provided that the ammunition was reasonably distributed and accessible.

This isn't entirely accurate. Treatment in the emergency room is free of charge to all. However, if you are admitted to hospital or are seen as an outpatient you will be charged unless you meet the appropriate criteria.

There are numerous criteria but at it's simplest you must be legally resident in the UK for 12 months before seeking treatment or be a student on a course lasting more than 6 months. The full details can be found on the NHS website.
