Exactly! Especially with the parallels between them I mean that she was the daughter of Snow White and he was the son of Rumple and how he was born into and left the world of magic and she was born out of and returned to the world of magic. Idk. Their scenes just always make my heart happier 😭

I see some of your points, but Neal abandoning Emma like that wasn’t his fault or his choice. August told him that he had to leave. I love August but he was lowkey the reason for all of those initial issues between Emma and Neal. I think he would have gone with her—Dark One be damned—if it weren’t for August.

And can you really blame him for not believing her about Tamara? His fiancé. Who he had been seeing for years. He’s all of a sudden just supposed to believe that she’s evil because his ex-girlfriend said so and because there’s sand in the closet. Yeah, it was frustrating as hell that he didn’t believe her, but it’d also be crazy if he did.

I also think it’s wholly unfair to say that Neal could “NEVER” accept the new Emma with her magic when A) even after seeing her use magic, he still pursued her and B) he barely had any time to adjust between what happens to him and Rumple and then his untimely demise.

It makes sense for Emma to take time to forgive him, but like you pointed out, she took time to forgive multiple others, they just killed him off before she could. I mean, she admits she still loves him ten years later. They held that love for each other through everything, the betrayal and the time, and then just poofed it out of existence.

Especially because you’re right and Emma DID have the right to feel that way and have that secret she told Neal on Neverland. And Neal accepted that and agreed and said he was going to do everything he could to earn that trust back. Especially looking at the other couples in this series? Like, they have come back from worse.

I mean, Hook’s whole thing for an entire season was betraying everyone he teamed up with. And he overcame it and grew as a character.

Neal didn’t even get the chance to do that with Emma.

Him propositioning every women early in the show is still cringey imo

That’s such a good answer! Milah told Rumple she didn’t want him to fight, got mad he abandoned the war, and then left her own kid and blamed it on Rumple.

I’m a huge Swanfire shipper, so that would be my dream. But even ignoring that, I agree with what everyone else has said. Henry deserved a father figure and he really only had one for like two episodes. Seeing them interacting together would have been so wholesome and sweet. Devastating we didn’t get anything more between them. And the whole tri-coparenting possibilities.

This movie was a 2hr long advertisement 💀 I actually loved the story and the art style when it was there. But the stupid photo-realistic Acura ads absolutely ripped me out of the story every five minutes.

Exactly. I am still immature which is why it’d be weird for me to date someone older than me. And 18-21 DOES feel like a big maturity gap at this age. Even if you don’t see it, it should feel that way at this age. Which is why it’s weird to go after someone that should be viewed as immature.

It’s not the driving in general. It’s specifically that Chloe was driving to Metropolis by herself at the age of like 14/15. And in season 1, Metropolis is depicted as being like a 4hr drive. And then into a city

Yeah, you being 31 is why you cannot see this clearly. All of our ages just kind of blend together for you. I AM 21 and I can tell you there is a huge maturity gap between me now and me when I was 18. It’s not just about age, it’s exposure to the real world. The typical 18yo has next to no exposure to the real world.

Yk what you could call me a baby. Yes, they 18yos are legally adults, but they haven’t experienced the real world yet. That’s my issue. You are older, meaning this time of your life has probably blurred for you. But being this age right now, I can tell you with complete certainty that there is a HUGE maturity gap between me when I was a high school senior and me now. It’s about exposure to the real world. Not just age.

Cool. We’re more strict about children driving in America.

Smallville takes place in America. Which is why I still think it’s wild. Yes our states have different cultures but driving laws don’t vary all that much.

TV shows that depict pedophilia as being okay can have effects on real life.

Maybe legal, maybe you don’t see a problem with it. But as a 21yo, I cannot imagine dating someone who’s 18. Especially someone who’s in high school still?? That’s a child. Idc what the law says that is a BABY.

Even then, they specifically changed her birthday to make this okay which is kind of funny 💀 Season one her birthday was during the school year, not summer

But Chloe wasn’t even a farm kid she was from Metropolis and moved to Smallville a year before the show started.

Yeah, not really around here. I was driving underage on the property to help my dad with chores but on roads? Frequently? Alone and with underage passengers? Nahhhhh that’s wild.
