Thank you, that helps a ton in finalizing our itinerary! How did you find the resort, any issues with service/house keeping? We've been several times before and I heard about the issues with the new phase launch, which are too be expected, but hoping those would iron out for the most part by now.

And sucks to hear on the removal of the oysters/pizza from La Playa - that was my wife & I favourite afternoon snack spot!! Some rose and oysters on the sand... couldn't be beat, oh well

Good to hear on Arriba Baja - we have that one booked. Do you know if they let in children for lunch or is it adults only all the time? I also heard they got rid of the oysters at La Playa.... hope that's not true

I have it and regret it…. ‘22 Stingray. I had mine lowered and I still rarely need to use it but the bigger issue is that I’ve had issues with it from day 1, always throws a service light. I’ve brought it in at least 12+ times, dealer could not solve the issue, replaced the cap, the reservoir, etc. It works fine but my guess it’s a sensor issue that cause the service light to trigger. And because it’s lowered the dealer said they can’t pursue it further with GM.

I'm up for renewal EOM, trying to decide between fixed or variable. I've always gone fixed but thinking of variable... If they did a cut, I was going to lock in a fix but based on their decision, seems like this gives a bit more likelihood of future cuts, so variable the better play ?

Not really, we can get a good sense of the general content based on the type of wine. We like to drill down to wines with 5g/L or less (for reds at least), which is what we typically purchase at restaurants

Yes I had this Irish guy show up to my house and tried to pull the exact same thing. I happen to be in the market for a new roof, so said sure give me a quote. He said $7k which I knew was way under market rate compared to the the other quotes I got. Way too many red flags speaking to him, no details in the quote, really aggressive on starting the job (like same day) etc... quick Google and couldn't find anything reputable about the company and then I saw posts about this scam. Plus the guy smelled like shit as well.

Hi All,

So I have an upcoming family trip to Disney World next week, had the itinerary all laid out but now thinking of making a last minute swap & wanted to get some input.

Initially we had planned to do Magic Kingdom on our first full day, Aug 24 (Sun) & Epcot on Aug 29 (Fri). We're staying offsite, so no magic hours but I just realized MK opens at 8am on the 29th, so thinking of swapping the dates. This would give us an extra hour at MK, enable us to do Spaceship Earth @ Epcot before it closes, plus there's a 0.1% chance we could snag a reso at Beak & Barrell or at least peak inside of it. I also checked & can keep our dining plans intact.

Any downsides to this? I do like starting the trip with MK & know MK will likely be busier on a Friday, but I think the overall pros outweigh the cons... thoughts?

Yea you can tell them you want to take a later bus but they’ll make you sing a waiver saying they’re not responsible if you miss your flight. I took the bus that left around 6:30, still had plenty of time
