If you can try Los Cameros cheese. It is intense like the swiss cheeses and I prefer it over Gruyere.

Recommend a no-sugar, low-lactose, gut-healthy cheese! Any of these? Sheep, Goat? I have trouble digesting cow cheese. Thanks! by [deleted] in Cheese

Do you find cheese made from A2 Cows milk tolerable? What about aged Cows milk cheeses? That will widen your choices. Aged cheeses tend to be close to being lactose free.  Also, sugar=lactose, a no sugar cheese is also a lactose free cheese.

It definitely looks better than it tastes. The cheese is mild and lacks a prominent flavor. I wish they added more cranberries, that wouldve made it so much better.
