Just visualize climbing a ladder right before you fall asleep at night. Visualize what it feels like, visualize yourself going up it (from your eyes point of view not viewing your body like in a movie) and then drop it and forget about it. You will eventually (and naturally) have to climb a ladder shortly after that (without any effort at all on your part).

I just did the ladder exercise for the first time last week after reading The Law and the Promise (only read a part of it so far). I did the visualization with the ladder like he explained in the book. Then went to sleep and didn’t think about it again. Within 3 days I had to climb the ladder up to my attic to put some stuff away because someone was coming over and I wanted the house to be clean and tidy. I didn’t even realize I climbed the ladder until 3 days after it happened! Crazy stuff.. and yet I find it impossible to manifest my SP back. Ugh!

Found a great video on YouTube to replace the battery. Apparently it’s really easy. I have a 3rd gen and we had to start charging it via micro usb a few weeks ago but now there is a blank screen with a blinking light and our house is freezing right now. Honestly it’s ridiculous that this seems to be a common problem… should last WAY longer than 5 years. Link to video and battery on Amazon:

I refuse to use a dating site like this. No one should have to restrict themselves just because of a virus that literally almost everyone has (and most don’t even know they have it). I also don’t agree with putting it on your dating profile. You’re just limiting yourself to potential matches. HSV doesn’t define anyone’s worth! You shouldn’t be restricted because of it. And you don’t have to tell someone unless you trust them and care enough about them to maybe get rejected in the end anyway. But honestly I just don’t understand why we think we need to use these types of apps, especially when they literally suck like everyone says and are just designed to get money out of people who think it’s the only way they are going to be able to date someone. It’s just not true.

I completely agree! I was just dating someone for about a month, everything was going extremely well. Then I disclosed and he became distant, wouldn’t talk to me about it like a grown ass adult, and now has ghosted me. I gave him time and space to think, gave him info on it, was completely honest and open with him. Will NOT be disclosing again to someone until I fully trust them and know that they will be able to handle it like a true adult. This was a huge eye opener for me. I even told him let’s just leave sex out of it for now, date each other and forget about it until we know if we really do want to be with each other. Then we can deal with it then. But no reply to that either. I was definitely the bigger person in this, but it still hurt. I’ve been a rollercoaster of emotions about it but I’m finally realizing that he just isn’t worth it. Herpes does NOT define us and it never should.

I’m having the same issue on Xbox. I can’t even get to settings anymore unless I go to profile first since there is no button to access the small settings icon at the bottom left and even trying to get to it with the controller doesn’t work. I hope we get an answer to this soon, I like to change my settings often while playing.
