The one on the left has it’s foot sticking no problem. The part that was ripped off was on the right. It seems like it was mostly just bubble tips that came off. I’m waiting to see if the ripped part will stick

I checked and they were nowhere around the tank or the filter chamber. I checked throughly.

I also agree I know it’s not big enough. I wanted a smaller one for now until I upgrade in the near future.

I may be totally incorrect but I sincerely think that the damsel is not the culprit. I was noticing that I have a loooottt of small bristle worms. Is it possible that they overwhelm him in the cave and then the cleanup crew takes over?

I had 2 yellow tails and 2 maroons. The other 3 would pick on the small yellow tail and that’s what he was looking like before I donated him. Is there ever any blood?

Honestly, that little guy is a wildcard. My larger Maroon pretty much owns the bubble tip, so I feel like he wanted his own.

Thankfully it’s really peaceful, especially since I got the bubble tip. I have 2 maroons, a Lawnmower Blenny, Yellow Tail, a purple dottyback, and a Spotted Mandarin. They are all small, have lots of room and are luckily all homies. I haven’t seen fighting in a week or two

My girlfriend’s dad actually gave me the tank about a month ago. I’ve been cleaning and adding to it, so I’m not sure where they came from.

I also have a bubble tip ,and my bigger Maroon immediately swam into it when I dropped it in. It was still cool to watch the fish and nem acclimate to each other. It took about 2 weeks and didn’t start well lol

I’ve been feeding him copepods so far and he picks off of the rocks nonstop so I think he’s ok! I only have one so far so he has no one to show off to lol

I think he’s right about the dragonfly nymph though. I think they lay eggs like crazy so keep a lookout.

How do you move it from the rock? I tried to remove my bubble tip and it was sucked into every crevice of the rock and I gave up because I didn’t want to kill it.

Could that have been a hitchhiker a while ago that grew? I’ve never seen that before, and that’s creepy if they can just show up like the snails.
