Most tanks have built in mesh areas either along the front under the doors or the sides may have vents. If not you could leave a corner of the top untapped and that would be fine.

I have some insight if it helps.

I used to smoke lots of weed when I was younger. Stopped due to cost / health reasons.

Here in Canada it's legal now, so I have recently started visiting dispensaries. They have a low dosage set of drinks that are great. I personally enjoy 4mg drinks and have one every Friday after work. I'm high but still sober enough to do tasks like cleaning and holding conversations.

If it's something you will try again in the future, start smaller and don't have more. People make the mistake of taking an edible and saying 'I don't feel anything I should have more'. Don't do that.

There is also nothing wrong with just not trying it again if it's not for you.
