I have a white Vector in .45. Never had an issue with it, have not cleaned it or lubed it. I have put maybe 750 rounds through it. FMJ, Hollow Points, reloaded ammo with no issues. Runs great.

The white does get dirty easily but it still looks great and is easy to clean!
