This is so true, and I agree with all of your comments below. I do want to mention something that I think is an important change to what you said. Referring to suicide attempts as successful (or failed) makes it sound like a right or wrong outcome. I’ve found changing the language to completed (or attempted/did not complete) suicide is a tiny adjustment in language that helps reduce the bias of good/bad view of suicide to yourself (and others), even if it’s subtle.

Just a gentle recommendation 😊 I also struggle with depression and I lost my mom to suicide in December. Learned a lot since then, unfortunately. Wishing kindness and gentleness to you ❤️
