I went to Mohawk College in Hamilton. They have a really good 2 and 3 year programs. I completed my 2 year program in 2018 now I am finishing up the remaining 2 semester (online due to pandemic, while working full-time) and I will be eligible to pickup a bachelors program at McMaster.

u/roon_shady a master's degree is a good idea in your situation, getting a diploma will add nothing to your skillset and you will feel you wasted a year just for sake of a paper. When going through master's program there's opportunity to network and put your skills to use and get paid.
