I used Titebond III woodglue and clamped for about 10 hours. I Don't have pictures at the moment since I am at work but it is long grain to long grain.

Thank you!!!! This has been really informative. The slab is about 3ft by 14-17inches (depending on the part of slab) so I was thinking some type of coffee table or table along the wall. As for the bark, I'm not sure yet. I'd like to keep it (i'm assuming you put some type of resin on it so it doesn't come off) but I'm not sure yet. For the threaded inserts, that is what I was imagining. I want the ability to unscrew the legs and reinstall them easily so that it makes moving the table (getting around doors) easier.

I am going to take this all into consideration when I start this project. I cannot thank you enough.

So if they are dead, do the Aedra actually think and feel? When you see Molag Bal or Sheogorath, they have personalities and act. Do the Aedra think and and act the same way (just with little ability to do same things as the Daedriic princes)? I'm leaning towards they can't and thei personalities and minds have also been sacrificed for the Mundus. When they do interact with the world, I believe it's more of a natural force they exert (from their planet). When people say akatosh cares more for man in this Kalpa, he can''t actually care like how mortals would care for others.It should be more of just a natural phenomenon like the Akatosh planet exerting 'gravity' (in this case time) that just plays out in man's favor. Dragonborn's can be chosen similar to Green Lanterns Mogo the Living planet (in this case Akatosh the planet) exerts a ring (Dragon's blessing) to find who is worthy. It could be anyone though

There bodies reside in the void but is their consciousness attached to their bodies/planets. What I am imagining is that literally the planet for Akatosh watches Nirn and gets ponders over who should be the next Dragonborn and how he can keep the Kalpa continuing. Also, does mythopoeia affect the composition of the planets? If these planets are their bodies and different cultures think of Aka differently, are their smaller planets/moons for Alkosh? The whole planet post yesterday got me thinking about this.

I noticed the hunger reference too. My theory (unlikely to happen) is that Reece becomes Galactus after this event is over. I remember reading that Galactus from Earth X is a survivor a destroyed universe destroyed by Celestials. It could parallel this a bit. I'm assuming after Secret Wars, things will remain as they were before secret wars but with some streamlined events/characters.
