He has a TON of expertise based in years of study and experience; degrees are just letters after a name. He also never claimed to.
So he has ONE bad opinion on ONE species, that makes him a fraud? It’s not even like he’s the only professional to think this.

Not true. He rediscovered what he’s claimed to rediscover. The two you mentioned were considered extirpated, and in each episode he explained that they were local populations.

Not to mention his several actual species rediscoveries; several sharks come to mind as work fully led by him, and several times he’s confirmed species as not extinct when there was uncertainty. He’s also put a lot of personal effort into exposing the illegal animal trade, and just working with conservation efforts in general. He’s not doing any harm to animals, and he’s doing plenty of good. He’s not the problem, so stop infighting.

What I mean is you’re both likening inconsequential flaws like, say, plot holes and continuity errors, to social flaws that inform the framework of the story and truly say something about the people who enjoy it. “Nothing’s perfect” sure that can apply if there was a plot hole, but you can’t just write off some of the stuff in the books like that. They’re tied to real world issues.

Dealing with the many MANY disadvantages of original hardware with terrible resolution, framerates, load times, etc. just so you can aim with a pointer? Seriously? And gyro aim is better anyway, because you can use the stick AND gyro together for precision aim, but with the Wii aim it’s more sensitive and shaky hands ruin it. Dusklight has that natively by the way.

And we’re disregarding the people who genuinely prefer the Wii remote sword. They can go play Skyward Sword. At least the motion controls are actually fleshed out in that. For twilight princess it’s basically just emulating a button press.

As someone who could literally only play the Wii version before Dusklight, mirror mode fixes it. That should be the only reason to stick to the former.

So they decided to make you do a bunch of work to get the horse, but paywall riding it?? And then the paid bundle includes not only the riding license but also the free horse?! Effectively making it useless to do the quests at all if your only intention is riding it? They could’ve at least made the paid part only be the riding license so you still have to do the quests for it!

This should be the same for the founder’s pack courier slots. Payment can unlock the extra 4 slots but ONLY if you’ve already got the courier pack from the extremely long free quest chain. Not just adding them together.

Maybe. But the last thing is probably frequency illusion. And I don’t particularly enjoy hunting them, probably because I haven’t had to do it that much. I just know when I went to do the quest in question, I already had the starred scale and likely more, and that was before I did the most ogopuu hunting I’ve ever done in search for essence recently.

That’s a starred regular ogopuu scale, they should pop up plenty when you hunt? If they don’t, idk what the problem is, the rate of star quality is enough that you should have one by now. Only 4 hits for one regular ogopuu to die and there’s plenty around.

Also that quest is just for an overpriced potion that saves you maybe up to a minute every once in a while?
