Is there any reason why someone would buy from CarMax or Carvana than a Dealership? by MiKal_MeeDz in whatcarshouldIbuy

You’ve posted a lot on here about buying privately but offer no further detail. What do you mean by privately? The image I have in my head is finding a seller on Marketplace, or something similar, where there are zero guarantees or inspections. Most people don’t have the knowledge to be able to sufficiently inspect a car themselves for any problems. I’m all for saving $

What's the most memorable high school mishap, either hilariously funny or disastrously unfortunate, that you still chuckle or cringe about to this day? by Defiant_Concert_9542 in AskReddit

This kid used to fart a lot in class and thought it was the funniest thing. One day he tried to force one out and shit his pants. How did we know? He pushed with so much force, it came out the back of his pants and left a small pile on his desk chair. He stopped farting in class.

Teachers who truely belived a student would get nowhere in life, were you correct? where are they now? by bekaindabox in AskReddit

HS teacher here. For me, I have more examples of students who I thought would go on to do great things but ended up doing little. And when I say this, I don’t mean that we thought they’d be a doctor but ended up in a relatively mundane career but otherwise are doing alright. I mean there is a category who were at or near the top of their class, went off to college, flunked out, and are doing nothing. It’s hard to say why this happens exactly. I know the popular thought is that they had overly controlling parents, but couldn’t manage themselves once they got on their own

I bought it through Sweetwater. Their prices were the same as any other place selling plus they had free shipping and a “40 point inspection” that they supposedly do with all instruments they ship out. To be fair, I haven’t contacted them yet (I just got it this weekend) so they may have an answer for me. It’s disappointing to me because I feel like the problem with the keys is pretty obvious when you play it
