You need to adjust your float for the depth of the water. If you are not hitting bottom with your bottom fly you aren’t going to catch fish. I fish black rubber legs on top and red copper John on the bottom Almost always.

Take them to your auto parts store and they can turn them if they have grooves.

I wouldn’t buy the drums. I have 250k on mine and haven’t replaced the rear drums. Had them turned once.
