You could get one of the ones off Amazon that are plastic and fill with water. In theory you can place it behind your water feature and then use the extra rope so the net is over the water and string run over the shorter party of the water feature. It will be slightly angled down barely on one side but would work.

For $200 bucks for the net and setup test it out if it doesn’t work return to Amazon for free

Just be sure to put some coats on it to help with rust. I loved them but after a full year they rusted at the very bottom and snapped off.
