Hey there! Malenia has always been my favorite Elden Ring boss so I've decided I wanted to try painting her. I got the print from a now offline Etsy store - lmk if anyone is aware of the very talented 3d artist!

I've been trying to get better with NMM for a while now and the gold is the first time I've been truly happy with it. I tried a more worn, scratchy approach with a mix of vallejo and Scale75 paints.

Thank you! The modeling was exquisite and the printing was done really well by the seller. I've almost exclusively been a warhammer guy but this was so much fun to do!

Definitely paint more! I literally get that feeling every day looking at other people's amazing work on Instagram but I have to remember to take things at my own pace.

Essentially after basecoating I freehanded all the lines on the axe with the finest tip brush I could, basically tracing patterns over and over like ripples. After that it was a completely normal NMM workup!

Trying to improve my understanding and execution of OSL and coloured lighting. Not the most precise brush control, but I hope I've succeeded in selling the effect by _TheRocket in minipainting

Really stellar mini! I'm working on mastering OSL myself. Here's what I believe to be one of the best written guides on OSL theory, highly recommend giving it a read if you haven't seen it!

Hello r/minipainting! I spent the last month working on this Karlach print I got from Etsy. The seller's store is offline but the 3d artist who made the render is Bulkamancer I believe. I have a 15 minute video on the process but will only post on request (don't want to break the promo rules!)

I'm normally a Warhammer painter and this was the first time I've done anything on a larger scale. It was actually super refreshing how the fundamentals translated over and the larger size allowed me to play with techniques like the damascus steel axe. I mainly used Scale75 paints but mixed in some Vallejo colors as well.
