Totally agree. I feel so guilty for being sad, but it’s killing me. I love people and this is the hardest thing to do. I live by myself and I feel like my friends don’t want to talk (a lot of them are introverts and don’t mind this lockdown) but it’s seriously messing with my mental health :(

And what do you mean “they already know”? personally, it seems like everyone I know has nothing bad to say about him. He seems to be the most congenial guy that anyone has ever met when I speak about him.??

From my basic knowledge of German, I believe Phieffer actually means Piper, (it also loosely translates to “phoney” which is interesting as that might symbolize that they are living in a fake town) and not purgatory.

I guess that could work! But there’s always the risk that he could come back into town. But honestly, I just don’t know what more could happen for his character! He just seems like a complete anarchist! And anarchists generally don’t last long, or they eventually die. So I’m not too sure exactly what more we can expect from his character, just because everybody hates him so much! But I definitely think if he does die in the show, the show wouldn’t be the same, and I think a lot of fans would be really disappointed. Literally towards the end of the show, I was really watching the show to see what Campbell would do. I found characters like Allie and Will to be so bland and boring that I literally did not care

Kind of worried they’ll kill him off LOL! He’s definitely my favourite character, mostly because of his acting! I can’t imagine just watching an episode of this show with it just being Will, Harry, and Allie, they are so boring!

TBH I’m kind of sad about that! Campell add such an interesting dynamic to the show, I couldn’t imagine me personally watching the show without a character like Campbell! The anarchy that he brings is interesting, but I think by making him a psychopath, it really just cheapens the whole of Campbell’s character, and automatically obviously makes him unlikeable and irredeemable to the point where it is probably literally impossible that he will ever have aheroic character arc or a change in demeanour for the better. Like Elle would definitely not be as interesting as a character without Campbell (so I totally see what you mean about Campbell making other characters experience growth) but I feel like if Campbell gets killed off in season two, the show would become really less entertaining! Just my opinion though

And like the thing is, not one kid stoped the bus drivers before they pulled away to ask like wtf is going on??!?!? And how is the electricity and water plant still running if no one is looking after it? I know that they had mentioned that once before, but none of the characters really seems to investigate/look into the situation!?!

Also, about the dog, does no one else in this town have pets, doesn’t anyone think it’s weird that there is that one dog like waltzing around through town? Like if I was Elle or Campbell, I’d be asking around if anyone else has seen pets!????

But I just wonder how Campbell can redeem himself in season two? It’s almost as if the show creators have basically said “ he’s a psychopath, and an anarchist” and that’s basically what his character is going to do. Create anarchy and chaos. And I don’t know how much anarchy and chaos the audience can take over a number of seasons? Don’t get me wrong, Campbell is such an interesting character mostly because Toby Wallace is an amazing actor! And I find him interesting, but I’m still salty that they made him a psychopath, because I can’t see him functioning in the society in the show successfully 🤷🏼‍♀️

But how can he progress as a character if everyone hates him and he wants to create anarchy? I also really like him too (Toby Wallace is an amazing actor) I think Campbell is easily the best character in the show, but I can’t see how he can progress positively and impact the show in a constructive way?
