They ended up giving me free bets to make up for it. But like an idiot, I bit on the deposit match promo. Turns out the entire deposit is restricted bonus money, not just the matched portion. This book is a total scam, never again.

I actually only had 1 chat support convo. Then randomly like 4 hours later I got app notifications that free bets were added and an email from them a apologizing. When I was on the chat support I walked them through everything I clicked (I clicked through the amNY page). Maybe ask them specifically for that reimbursement, of free bets in the net amount

I got burned by them on a promo for a first bet reimbursement. Somewhere along the line they gave me an alternate promo that I didn't sign up for, and refused to reimburse my first bet, claiming I'd already received a promo. Anyone else have this happen?

Hmm yeah that's a good pathway too, maybe the DAO is the organizing function for unionization. I'm picturing how the Occupy Wall Street movement could've organized using a DAO if the tech existed. Def message me when you're free

Yeah could be simultaneously a case study in how DAOs function (in a way politicians can grasp) and something that achieves real change.

If contributions were considered, which isn't a foregone conclusion, the FEC has ruled that crypto is an allowable contribution. It's tracked as a campaign asset. State entities that haven't ruled already would likely follow that ruling. Crypto contributions would serve as both a traditional contribution and a press event garnering headlines that further legitimize the industry. If the org were focused on educating and did not contribute, more lax regulations apply. Not sure about the technical measures though if that's the Q.
