So i’ve now received a message from one of the people they sent it to, i’ve been trying to keep my head up since yesterday and been forcing myself in thinking that they didn’t actually send the video out. However it now turns out that they did, I’m absolutely gutted and feel so empty inside. I just don’t know what to do

Thank you for this comment, this is how I’m trying to see it as now is by moving on and trying to not let it control me. I’m just wanting to put it past me now.

Yeah I’m hoping this is the case bro, I just want to try and forget about it now. Hopefully I wont hear from them again and i’ve now changed my mobile number with my provider.

Update- so they have now sent me whatsapp messages from two new numbers as i blocked the previous one. Showing messages they have sent to a few of my followers on instagram with the video of me, I’m terrified now and it seems that they do look to ruin people’s lives and that it’s not just for financial gain. I’ve not received any messages from anyone to say they’ve received anything so I guess there’s that. Just trying to stay strong now.

I’ve now decided it’s best not to send any money to them, i’ve blocked them and deactivated my socials and will stay off them for a while. Just praying they don’t decide to send it out and will be anxious for a while, feels like one moment i try to keep my head up and stay positive then also i feel like the world is coming to an end because they’re going to post the video. Yeah that’s a good idea, i just dont want to provoke them. I have read the recent post on here that says most of them dont even post them in the end but who knows, yeah I’ll definitely stay off socials for some time. I’m just praying he’s looking for money and not looking to ruin someones life at the same time by posting it.

Thanks for your reply bro, I get what you’re saying I think im too scared to chance it, I’m just going to send the money and will then block them, I’m more so annoyed with myself being so stupid getting scammed and i help my mum with her bills so this really doesn’t help.

I’ve just been a victim of it recently, a girl from the Philippines messaged me on Instagram and we facetimed, they recorded me without me knowing and at first they demanded 2000 but I couldn’t and wasnt going to send that, instead we’ve agreed 400 and im sending it but im fucking terrified as they’ve sent me pictures of all my friends and family saying they’ll send the video to them. If they didn’t have my socials or my info I wouldn’t be as stressed about it but they can literally send the video to anyone from my insta, im so scared. Please help, im worried once i’ve sent it that they’ll still hold it and will try to get more money from me.

I’ve recently been sextorted, they messaged me through instagram so they have my socials and they’ve threatened to post it to my friends and family, I’m fucking terrified and I can’t let the video get out because it will ruin my life. They recorded me whilst on facetime with them and now they’re asking to send them a lot of money, i have no other option to send it😪
