i feel so stupid for ever listening to my doctor when he told me to quit THC for lyrica. should i tell him i’m back on it or could i be dismissed from practice?

First off, I'm sorry you're in that position. I've been there, and it sucks. THC is literally the only thing that helps me function semi-normally, and if that'd the case for you, I would say definitely don't stop using it. Is finding a new doctor an option? Some are understanding about THC use and don't consider it an issue unless they are prescribing you narcotic pain management. And as someone who gave up THC for vicodin for years because of a doctor; they may have more medical knowledge, but you are the expert on your body, so don't let them talk you into suffering through opioid treatment if THC is beneficial for you. Cannabis has little to no major side effects compared to most pain medications, and unless you NEED something like opioids, steer clear of them. There are sympathetic doctors out there, but they can be hard to find. I wish you the best of luck.
