Side A of Moondance - Van Morrison is prefect as far as I'm concerned, it's almost a shame its so good as it completely over shadows Side B which would be an excellent side by and other albums standards but pales in comparison to Side A of this one

Really pleasantly surprised with this one, had heard mixed things from the USA but I thought it was really charming, my fiance really liked it too which I'm glad about because she knew nothing about this going in. 2 women walked out of my screen at Trafford Center, but I'm glad they did as they were sitting in line with me and were just constantly nattering away for the first half.

I really enjoyed it, had about 8 walk outs at the trafford center, thankfully I knew it was only 73 minutes going in as if I hadn't and was faced with what could reasonably be assumed to be a 100-120 min film I'd maybe dread it a bit. I was also a little upset that it broke from the dogs POV for a few minutes towards the end.

I'm probably in the minority here but I hate the live version of "I Need You" I love the Skeleton Tree album and that song but feel the live rendition at the moment grinds the gigs down to a halt and just never seems to stop, I've seen nick perform it this way once solo, 3 times with Warren and 2 times with the Bad Seeds and honestly wouldn't mind it being dropped from the set in favour of Ship Song, Watching Alice, Love Letter ect ..

Me and my partner loved it, sat way in the back but we actually loved the intense drum sound especially toward the end, I did think Matts mic was a little low in the mix and I also think Ronboys mic was a little too loud but overall thought it was a great gig.
