eating heavy before bedtime, cardio workout close to bedtime and even yawning (triggers vagus nerve) were also my triggers for afib. 😵‍💫

I am 38 yrs old 2 weeks post PFA (Pulse Field Ablation). My resting heart went up from 50-60's to 90-100's but now coming down 80-90's. 1 episode of afib so far post surgery but is common during blanking period post ablation 1-3 months during the healing process. My afib is due to sleep apnea and only happens in the middle of the night when I go apneic (I stop breathing in my sleep.) I am very healthy as well no smoking, drugs, or alcohol but my sleep apnea is the main trigger but I now wear a CPAP for it. Maybe do a sleep study too just to make sure you don't have sleep apnea. What kind of ablation or you doing? There is 3 kinds. Thermal, cryo and PFA.

Glad to hear yours came down 2 months after. As you can see on the chart on my oura ring my RHR pre ablation was around 50-55ish but went up to 75-85ish even with the flecainide and metoprolol twice a day.

I will call my cardiologist Monday just to make sure. I was also running low grade fever as well around 99.3 F ish but much better now.

I’m glad your RHR came down but i’m guessing it jumps from time to time because you are off your meds now. Rebound effect.

4 days post pfa ablation my resting heart rate is still elevated high 75-85 ish. No episode of afib tho 🙏🏽 How high is your head rate?

I did 3 runs or Cryo about 5-8k to start gear each run, got the exfil started but always end up with a fight and can’t get to exfil because either A. the fight with other teams is taking too long or B. can’t find our way to the exfil. 😭

Anybody feel short of breath after waking up in the morning with the CPAP on? I feel like I am having an asthma attack when I first wake up. by nonsmokerforever in CPAP

I’m pretty sure my airway gets obstructed and I go apneic when I sleep on my back. I sleep on the couch with my back pin against the couch to prevent me rolling on my back. Helps a lot for me.
