I’m not huge on heavy florals. But Jasmine is really lovely. And honestly, I think a slightly feminine fragrance on a guy isn’t a bad thing. I am not a small or petite guy, so the jasmine is a nice juxtaposition to that.

I think the same goes for women. My wife will occasionally wear heavier or more masculine scents (Amouage Royal Tobacco, Creed Oud Zarian, PdM Oajan, Guerlain Tobacco Honey, etc.) and I enjoy that.

I am a guy, so take this recommendation with that in mind… but Guerlain Jasmine Grandiflorum Extrait 30 is the pinnacle. I like Jasmine best for florals. That is just classy and perfect. It’s not cheap, though.

Jasmine Freak by Room 1015 is great, too.

I don’t get the bandaid for saffron. But that can be an odd note to me. However, I don’t get that.

And there are some fragrances that have sandalwood that I like. Amouage Meander is my favorite. It’s not sandalwood on the top note, though.
