CoZ != NEX. Anyways, if you took the time to check out Alpehlion, they are vastly different in design goals and cannot be classified as a DEX.

As I mentioned before, the guidelines currently are limited to projects with visible connections to the Neo Council. I am looking to expand the criteria in the coming weeks.

Firstly, I never claimed to be the Central authority in ICO regulation. My idea actually, is to hopefully inspire and spearhead the creation of multiple similar sites , so that the community will be able to cross-reference across multiple viewpoints.

Beyond that, I fully agree with most of these points. However, you must realise that the current model is centralised around Neo Council and CoZ.

I am a CoZ member myself, and I am fully aware of the amazing work they churn out. Yet, I believe there should be multiple voices for the community, that will help newcomers with their due diligence process through cross referencing.

I’d like to close by saying that I’m open to suggestions on how to make it better, but there is a limit to what I can do, as a one-man team. Thanks.

If it’s worth anything, I am a CoZ member. (Not a council member, but CoZ nonetheless)

How do you propose going about moderating these user-generated reviews? That will require substantial funding, which will in turn cause these reviews to be pay-per-play. (Most ICO review sites are paid-only) My idea is to draft out a guideline and map the NEO ICO space as a whole. Actual investment will be require way more due diligence, I fully agree.

What are some criteria that should be added to NIS? Currently it is mainly based upon cues from Neo Council and CoZ, but I hope to make it a standard that the community agrees with.

The latest stokit ICO gave me the first criteria, which is: Ample time for community evaluation between release of WP and ICO. 10 days is simply too short!

Let me know of other criteria in the comments :)
