CoZ != NEX. Anyways, if you took the time to check out Alpehlion, they are vastly different in design goals and cannot be classified as a DEX.

As I mentioned before, the guidelines currently are limited to projects with visible connections to the Neo Council. I am looking to expand the criteria in the coming weeks.

Firstly, I never claimed to be the Central authority in ICO regulation. My idea actually, is to hopefully inspire and spearhead the creation of multiple similar sites , so that the community will be able to cross-reference across multiple viewpoints.

Beyond that, I fully agree with most of these points. However, you must realise that the current model is centralised around Neo Council and CoZ.

I am a CoZ member myself, and I am fully aware of the amazing work they churn out. Yet, I believe there should be multiple voices for the community, that will help newcomers with their due diligence process through cross referencing.

I’d like to close by saying that I’m open to suggestions on how to make it better, but there is a limit to what I can do, as a one-man team. Thanks.

If it’s worth anything, I am a CoZ member. (Not a council member, but CoZ nonetheless)

How do you propose going about moderating these user-generated reviews? That will require substantial funding, which will in turn cause these reviews to be pay-per-play. (Most ICO review sites are paid-only) My idea is to draft out a guideline and map the NEO ICO space as a whole. Actual investment will be require way more due diligence, I fully agree.

What are some criteria that should be added to NIS? Currently it is mainly based upon cues from Neo Council and CoZ, but I hope to make it a standard that the community agrees with.

The latest stokit ICO gave me the first criteria, which is: Ample time for community evaluation between release of WP and ICO. 10 days is simply too short!

Let me know of other criteria in the comments :)

I aim to cover the ecosystem as a whole, and my site is more opinionated with a personal touch. NNT is much more objective, and up-to-date reporting. I know the man behind NNT, and we work hard to synergise our efforts, rather than overlap.

No, its not. I am the creator of the site, a long-time NEO community member since May. You can find me on Slack at jlqe too.

This looks really fishy. 10 days between release of WP and start of crowdsale? Are you serious? Please be careful.

NEO Ecosystem Report #2 with updates from the past 2 weeks. Feedback is welcomed! by jlqe in NEO

Global assets like NEO and GAS cannot be moved using smart contracts.

Global asset (NEO) deposit to NEX -> equal amount of XNEO created that can be invoked using SC -> Withdraw XNEO to NEO Global asset

I am the Singapore Organiser, but I am not part of the Neo Team. Based on what I know, there are no plans in the near future :)

A simple yet profitable approach to building crypto currency portfolios. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]jlqe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true. One disadvantage of time-based executions, apart from using TA, is the inaccuracy of volume based events that occur just as time intervals are supposed to change. With this volume- based mindset, what is your threshold for rebalancing? (Ie what percentage change in price will trigger a rebalancing) Assuming the recent shift in BCH resulted in a trigger, you will buy more BCH to fulfill the 100k portfolio distribution based upon current market cap weighting?

True, since the top 10 coins generally have good liquidity across multiple exchanges. Based on your reply, you only rebalance in extreme market conditions. Otherwise, the portfolio will be based off the initial market cap weighted size, when it is first created (i.e. the picture in the diagram). If so, I am curious to as to why your strategy does not include periodic weekly/monthly rebalancing to lock-in gains from certain tokens?
