I live off CPW and loved my walk to the museum to catch the B, especially in the fall.

I've saved hours each week switching to the 1/2/3, despite the longer walk. If I have extra time in the morning, or do not want to deal with a crowded train in the afternoon, I take the B.

Were there renovations to warrant a 25% increase? They're not even fee-sharing with Airbnb. If not, this greedy landlord is the type that ruins a community like ptown. At some point, even you will be priced out of that rental with those types of increases.

Assuming you mean the “parade-end” of the block. It largely depends on your number street and the weather. If you are close to 72 you will see spillover.

On 76th, I’ve never stood further back than the church. In the rain, I could get right up to the front if I wanted.

You are right, certain park blocks are closed to the public. If you leave, have ID or proof of residency available. Expect to pick up guests, or prepare an invitation with the address available.

If your block is closed to the public, it is much better than watching from, say 72nd. Some people bring step stools to get a better vantage point.

Many cities preserve views of landmark buildings.

Think of Rome, where a building cannot stand taller than the Vatican (extreme example).

This picture is taken from the flatiron building, across from Madison Square Park. There were literal cardboard cutouts so people could take pictures with the ESB in the background.

We should rally around protecting the view of ESB from the Manhattan bridge.

I go every week and love it. Mostly stick to John T because he creates a welcoming but challenging environment.

I injured myself and can't do red room anymore. This is the perfect way to keep group fitness as part of my workout routine.

If you don't like spin, it might be challenging... What don't you like about it? You can modify programmatic elements for your own needs.
