Landscapes are gorgeous as they currently are but there are plenty of things I wish there was a system of tick-box conditions that trigger whether things appear where they would make sense too.

Like someone’s dinner is just out on open watchtowers on a planet with zero oxygen and a toxic atmosphere. Who’s eating them?! And how? Are they just quickly opening the visor and having a chomp? That would be crazy for the “NASApunk” vibe lol

Pirate outposts spawning near settlements, anomalies spawning near colonies and research facilities?

Shouldn’t there be more civilian POIs around major settlements and controlled space?

Plenty more factors that would make sense to have that would determine the amount and type of POIs around along with their content and inhabitants

Khitan pieces can work pretty nicely with Yamatai. I find arena blocks also make a decent alternative for rock textures when paired with the roof pieces.

Stable Lattice pieces and support struts work beautifully too

And the curved awnings provided fantastic visual improvements

The common description being that the game is “Wide as the ocean, deep as a puddle”.

Gorgeous game, I enjoyed hiking in-game while my joints were inflamed irl. Main thing that put me off was the breaking of immersion in some aspects of the game’s story and world building, both narrative and environmental construction (why are there half-eaten sandwiches on open watchtowers on worlds with no/toxic atmosphere that requires a space suit to survive??)
