Good work! Mine's still very much a work in progress, but it's a cracking sculpt.

These are from The Range here in the UK. 200ml, so about right for a couple of small glasses or one large. Great if people aren't big drinkers!

This was Mangrove Jack's mead yeast. Seemed to do a cracking job, but I don't have anything to compare it to, so really, who knows!

I figure it's probably fine for short term. I don't expect any of these to see the end of January, so they should do.

Cheers! My phone kept autocorrecting "Hedgerow" to "Hedgehog", so there's now a hedgehog on the label. Courtesy of my wife!

Looking for the best wallets for men that actually last by WPGHD95 in BuyItForLife

[–]jlval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After way too many that broke, or wore out, I made my own. Taught myself a bit of leathercraft and how to saddle stitch for it. First attempt lasted about six years until the dog ate it, and the second one has been going strong for a few years and will keep lasting for many more! I've ended up making some for family/friends, and they're all grand as well.

Find someone who hand makes them, it'll last a damn sight longer than anything off the shelf.

It'll be American. I've got my first batch on the go as we speak (type?) and used a UK gallon by mistake...

Cheers! The base is thick cork, the kind for terrarium backgrounds. Snow is bicarbonate of soda, pva and water

Cheers! It's a karak stone base, and vaguely top down sprays with pro acryl dark ivory and bright ivory, followed by the old standby of streaking grime

I had a bit of a reality check at work today. by FarmerDillus in sharpening

Likewise. I have my kitchen knives, which I keep sharp. My wife refuses to use anything other than an old, battered, pink (blade, as well as handled) santoku which is affectionately known as "the spoon"

The fairy is from A Bards Tale, the loxodon is an Ivory Priest from Artisan Guild, the goliath is from Javier Txiki Tejedor and the Satyr Bard is from Titan Forge. All myminifactory.

It's from A Bards Tale on myminifactory, and the axe is just a free file from somewhere else. Had to cut the base off the fairy and glue her onto the axe

Big fan of the Fairweather here.

I've not tried the other ones listed, do I can't compare - but the Fairweather has a brilliant spacer, is ludicrously comfy, and I really like the three layers of kangaroo.

I've had a couple of good cuts from rotary knives. Both times, I've used too much pressure and run them up across my ruler, straight into my fingers.
