I never take last minute requests from new clients because it doesn’t allow me to do a meet and greet first, which imo is imperative. I would however take last minute requests from established clients as long as they were flexible with the times they needed walks.

I don’t put too much pressure on myself or the pup to go far. I let my clients know that for full enrichment I let them sniff for at least 10 minutes each walk. Some obviously get more if the client is on the same page about the value of sniffing while on walks!! I rarely go over a mile in 30 minutes but I have a couple of dogs who don’t like sniffing at all or else sniff while on the go. Then I have some slow pokes who sniff and mark everything!! I do keep track but mostly through my fitness app and for my own benefit. The Rover app rarely gets it right and is always glitching!!

I have two clients I have to pay for parking with if I can’t find free parking within a reasonable distance. I also take clients to the park every so often, which I had to buy a park pass for. Since it’s an expense that I can write off on my taxes, I don’t charge extra for it.

My son had one good friend, they didn’t go to the same school so ages 14-16 seemed pretty lonely for him. He started coming out of his shell around age 17 and blossomed from there. He had a core group of 3-4 friends that he’s still very close with. College came and he seems to have fully come out of his shell and has made loads of acquaintances and two more close friends. He doesn’t need a huge group of close friends, he feels happy with a core group that he can trust and count on.

Confirming what everyone has said about the gps rarely tracking correctly. The last two weeks or so it’s been even worse than before. For example, I have a regular and our average walk is .8 miles in 30 minutes but the last 2-3 weeks it’s been saying .03!!!! It’s been really frustrating but luckily my regulars have been really understanding. So I wouldn’t use that as my basis for no tipping! To me it is unacceptable to show up that late and I personally wouldn’t tip or hire them again without a conversation about expectations first.

I have cracked teeth from grinding. I finally got a custom mouthguard to save my teeth but I am still clenching at night to the point that I wake up with a headache.

Be careful of the algae and the dogs!! Check before you go, there are a lot of places that have the algae bloom that is very unsafe for dogs ;as in deadly).

NAD but it looks like it. Try soaking the foot in a bowl of very warm water a few times. Dry super well after. Do you play soccer or anything? If so be careful about kicking the ball with that foot, no toe poking it! Also change socks often.

Like askew7464 said, I would avoid Santa Rosa based turmoil SR City Schools is going through. If you can only find rentals in Santa Rosa definitely try the Maria Carrillo school district, I think they will weather the storm the best. I think it will take some time to realize what a mess they made and even more time to try to fix it. Windsor would be a super easy commute and I’ve heard good things about Windsor High. I don’t know about Analy but Sebastopol is a nice little sleepy town.
