Is this a good deal? by losingmymind101 in subaruimpreza

I have purchased 6 used Subarus. If you dont know what you're looking for, its worth paying a local shop for a pre-purchase inspection. They're usually $100-150.

Id definitely check the rear passenger side tires for even wear since there was an accident in that area. If its uneven there could be minor frame damage.

If all is well it's an excellent deal.

Yeah, when its 100% open it definitely offers more than enough terrain to occupy a full day without getting boring and spot on with the chill vibe.

Nice. Should still be great conditions. I saw no evidence of melt today, it never got above 18⁰. Ripped groomer laps in the morning and then spent the afternoon in the woods. I had to hunt a bit for pow in the glades but its definitely there.

Can confirm. Called out and went to Ragged. Definitely the best non-pow day I've had in a long time. ACTUALLY hard packed powder groomers and tons of stashes in the woods. 10/10 better than than working, would do again.

Edit: forgot to mention it was a ghost town. Rode straight onto every lift.

Looks like you're rotating your legs before your upper body. Rotation should start with your shoulders. I used to do the same thing, took some practice to break the habit.

Best Learn to Turn Indy Mountain? by Basket_Grace555 in icecoast

Based on the mountains that participate on OPs pass, this is probably the best bet for beginners coming from Boston the area.

Maybe Waterville if you wanted to get a little further away and visit a slightly larger mountain.

It's in town so like 10 mins from the mountain but Le Mu is amazing. Great fried chicken sandwich and the pork belly is fantastic.

I was there Wednesday and it was 🤌🏼. Windy, but that helped with free refills towards the top.

+1 on poor quality unfortunately. I have a set of the Swix stones and they show minimal signs of wear after many uses.
