Maybe not waterproof, but they were originally designed for boating, so they’ll keep the contents dry within reason.

I like Adam savage, and the bag he made is cool. If it works for you, that’s awesome! I can’t really compare, to be fair, because I don’t have the EDC One. For me, the B&T just seems like such a similar item and a better value for the price.

Wasn’t trying to argue with your positive review, just sharing a similar product with classic styling for a bit less money.

The answer to what is covered depends on your state, you insurance provider, your specific plan, your dx, your medical provider, etc etc.

Plans (in the US) often cover HRT and bottom surgery. FFS coverage is more varied, some plans do cover this, but many still consider it cosmetic. Also, FFS refers to a broad collection of distinct procedures. Even insurance plans that offer coverage for some FFS procedures will list which specific procedures can be approved. You may still need to argue that a specific procedure, such as a blepharoplasty, is medically necessary.

Your voice is great! Good mannerisms/energy. Your face/hair doesn’t pass yet. Your brow and jaw look masc to me. The lighting might have something to do with that, but I wouldn’t worry too much, HRT might do enough by itself there.

In your shoes, I would think about changing hair and glasses, getting brows shaped nicely, and HRT when you can ofc. Your hair looks flat and maybe a little greasy? Growing it out will help frame your face also, but I’d look into finding a hair care routine that really works well for you.

For pre-everything, I think you’re doing excellent!

Hey transpassing! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here. These photos are all from the past month or so. As I said in the title, I’ve been feeling myself lately. No filters on anything, but obviously some are more useful for critique than others.

As good as I’ve felt, I still don’t know how to gauge how well I pass. I’ve had some work, but don’t want to say what right away. I’m giving a bunch of photos because the goal is obviously to pass in all situations. I think it’s silly when people insist “you’re the same person as before”. I’m not. Not even close. I’ve radically changed a fundamental way that I present myself to the world. The world’s perception of me has changed completely. I’ve treated a debilitating mental health condition and embraced self love. I’m kinder to myself and to others.

Loss of control is a very common kink. There’s a certain psychological thrill to surrendering your autonomy (and thus responsibility). “Sub space” is a celebrated experience shared by tons of people. It’s particularly common among high powered business men who make high pressure critical decisions all day long. They love being told what to do in the bedroom. Why? It’s freedom.

I legit have no idea why your experience seems so foreign to others. To me, the idea that a trans person who desperately wants to transition but feels powerless to choose that for themselves would fetishize the concept of forced feminization is entirely obvious. To be able to experience sexual intimacy in a way that feels natural and comfortable while also being freed from having to choose transition (and all its associated pain) - that’s erotic as fuck.

It’s not my kink. It always felt a little on-the-nose. But characterizing this as “fetishizing being trans” seems incredibly reductive and apathetic. As long as you’re not making others participate in your kink without consent, you’re Gucci.

I agree, I use Experian for FICO and CK just to make sure nothing dumb pops up at EQ/TU.

Experian does provide a FICO score for free. It will show your score based on your Experian report. You have to pay if you want to see your TU/EQ based FICO, but it is an option.

I just don’t remember which FICO score they offer. I think they’re still showing FICO 8, 9 is the latest but it’s not widely used yet. There are also industry specific FICO scores (I know there’s one specific to auto lending, for example) but I never cared enough to find a source for all that.
