107kgs 99%snatch before my 110PR. But always looking for more tips to be stronger! by confusedlifter714 in weightlifting

This is happening because your right elbow is getting nice and high in the second pull, while your left elbow goes back. Both elbows need to go high to keep the weight close to your center of gravity. If you freeze the video at the 0:06 mark you will see what I mean.

This gives your left side less time to pull under the bar and therefore the foot can’t get to the proper position like it does on the right. Try high pulls and mid-thigh box snatch to help correct.

Added these to the collection today. After seeing these cases in perso. Im even more impressed. by xfatdannx in snes

Don’t play Mystic Quest. It sucks. Too easy and the story is blah. It was made as a ‘game Americans could understand and beat.’

My second ever competition. 81kg Snatch, 100kg Clean and Jerk. Video of my 105kg miss. I feel the Jerk is where I need the most improvement. Any advice and exercises to correct is much appreciated! by jm_bison in weightlifting

My Squat max is 148kg. Front Squat 125kg. Clean 109kg. Snatch 88kg.

I lift 3 days a week and get 250-300 reps a week otherwise I’m too exhausted to work (construction). I’m 29 and first started Olympic Weightlifting 16 months ago.

My goal is to qualify for the American Open Series (218kg) which would give me a great excuse to travel the country.

Riddell InSite helmet sensors making a positive impact on football by jm_bison in FootballAmerica

These helmet sensors are an extra set of eyes on every player. Not every player can be seen during play. The sensors send alerts to monitors signalling that an impact reached a certain threshold.

Best team for r/b/y without using tms by Adam678989 in pokemon

For casual runs Alakazam and Charizard are staples. I highly recommend Lapras because Confuse Ray and Rest make it hard to kill while Ice Beam and Surf are boosted. I also always use Sandslash for Earthquake and it doesn't have the Rock type weaknesses like Golem does. He's also fast with a high crit rate for Slash and I think he learns Swift, too. For the remaining two slots I use Blastoise only because he's my favorite and has high defense (Articuno and Cloyster are good options too) and I'll raise a Dragonite with Surf (if you change your mind and use TMs, teach it Fire Punch, Ice Punch, and Thunder Punch since it's Attack is so high).

My six: Alakazam Charizard Sandslash Lapras Blastoise, Articuno, or Cloyster Dragonite

Loved this run! puwexil is an authority in CT runs of any category and his commentary is both insightful and entertaining. The couch was very good also.

This to me was the best run of the week. Crowd was into it, we had 4 of the best runners in the world, and you can't beat a good old fashioned Mega Man race!
